Residence Permit Application & Renewal Deadline for International Students

Background & Context
The 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit is scheduled to be held in Ankara on July 7–8, 2026. To ensure security and organization during this high-profile international summit, an administrative leave will be implemented across all public institutions and organizations in our province from July 6 to July 12, 2026.
Due to this administrative leave, immigration and document processing services in public departments will be temporarily suspended. To prevent any delays, penalties, or interruptions in our international students' residence permit application and renewal processes, the submission deadline has been moved forward.
Key Requirements
- Submission Office: All residence permit application and renewal folders must be submitted to the International Student Office (Uluslararası Öğrenci Ofisi).
- Strict Deadline: The final submission deadline is Tuesday, June 30, 2026, by the end of working hours. No files can be accepted after this date.
- Reason for Adjustment: The deadline has been moved forward to prevent disruptions in applications due to the administrative leave implemented in Ankara's public institutions from July 6 to July 12, 2026, for the 36th NATO Summit.
