2016-2017 Decision Analysis course project presentations

Our undergraduate students presented their posters they prepared as a part of MAN326 Decision Analysis course. In the presentaitons, our students have defended their posters summarizing their projects on the application of the techniques thaught in the course, on real-life problems.

In the Decision Analysis course, quantitative decision techniques, such as multi-criteria decision analysis, decision trees and dynamic programing, are thaught. The projects prepared as a part of the course are based on solving the real-life problems that each student defines himself/herself, using the thaught techniques. This year, in their projects, our students suggested optimal decisions and plans for the problems they have encountered, about optimizing light-lengths for smart traffic light systems, mapping of new roads, production-inventory decisions, journey planning and vehicle routing.

Our students made their poster presentations to our faculty members from different expertises on 26.05.2017. The poster presentations received a significant appreciation and plaudits from our faculty members.

We thank for their effort and success to our students Naomi Sarkun, Nizameddin Alyaprak, Merve İbiş, Melis Doğaroğlu, Tuğba Kurtkan, Doğukan Aral Sarı, Burakhan Kapan and Azmi Can Çağın.
